Yes unfortunately , during oral sex she had oral cold sore and at that time I had no idea what it was. I dont care about it now, i can live with lt and hope I dont have hpv beside it. My outbreaks are bearable and mild, Just this itchy feeling bothers me.
Ok thanks.
So I'm assuming you got genital HSV-1 from receiving oral sex?
My mother has oral hsv but I have never had oral cold sores , if you don't have warts there is no why to know you have hpv or not ; u can try microarray dna chip test but it is not accurate for men if you dont have any wart.
So you have genital HSV-1 but did you have cold sores as a kid? like through your childhood/teenage years. I think I might speak to a specialist on HPV to know where I stand
I have read many article about that and seen a professor specialised on urology he said its very unlikely to get cancer of hpv and hpv causes cervic cancer for woman for man its not a big deal. I have genital hsv1 and maybe hpv because my wife had low grade dysplasia but i have no symptoms for hpv and my outbrake for hsv is not severecand comes twice in a year.
What about the people who have HSV1 of the genitals though and of the mouth? I'm sure I have read some posts on here about newly acquired HSV1 of the genitals
Most professionals in the area of herpes will tell you this, it just doesn't happen. Terri in the experts forum has seen only one potential case where it has happened in decades of treating thousands of herpes patients, and even this one is unconfirmed.
I don't particularly want genital warts or cancer. Is HPV site specific like if i got oral sex and it caused cancer/warts would it be of the penis or could it be anal warts/ cancer.
I suppose it is yeah.. but who said that?.
İn my country over ten years its only 56 people got cancer because of hpv and im sure they have not seen a doctor till the last level of it so i dont think you will get canser cuz of hpv.
With an established oral HSV1 infection that you have then it is extremely unlikely you would become infected genitally with this strain, so that's good news!
HPV from oral sex is also exceptionally rare. In the highly unlikely event that you did, most of the strains are expelled from the body in time.
