Scared of getting herpes

About 4.5 weeks ago I received head from a very risky women. I haven't had any symptoms of herpes yet but still nervous that I do possibly have it....... Please someone help. What are my chances of having herpes from recovering oral from a woman that lasted about 1 minute long? And I haven't had any outbreaks yet either is that a good sign? Do I need to be tested?

No, my girlfriend has herpes, I do not. As such, we've received a breadth of information from a variety of sources and specialists for our sexual relationship. However, I still have one question that has only popped up recently - a hypothetical situation - and we aren't in any position to see a specialist over it, thus why I've joined and asked on here.

Do you have herpes because I was looking at your page and this was the first thing you ever commented on do you have any knowledge at all about it? Or just reading what you see online?

No, you're not in any safe zone. Herpes can show zero symptoms for significant periods of time.

I only received oral and I saw most doctors said the hiv, heppitious, and those are a zero risk but herpes is a big one. I'm just wondering if you know if I'm kinda sorta in a safe zone of not having it without and blisters or sores on my gential area? Sorry keep bothering you!!

Huh?! You can get *any* STD from someone. Go to the doctors if you're worried. Also, you won't have Gonorrhea, the incubation period has passed. Symptoms would have shown up by now. Just get checked!

"A very risky woman"? STDs don't discriminate. Whether or not you perceived her as "risky" doesn't actually tell you that you're at risk of receiving an STD or not. Why specifically herpes? Did she have any active symptoms? Did she tell you that she had herpes?  If you're seriously worried, then get tested.
