HSV I/II, IgG/Rfx TYPE II IgG

I recently had my blood drawn with Labcorp and the HSVI/II was 22.8 index and HSV 2 IgG, Type Spec was negative. I have never had any symptoms of any kind and I am worried now. Is there any testing besides this that can confirm this? What does my test reusults even mean. Please help explain.  Thank you in advance for your time.

Most adults have hsv1. For most folks it's oral even if they can't recall a history of cold sores or not.

The 22.8 result is a combined herpes test. It just looks for hsv in the body and isn't type specific.  The hsv2 specific test came back negative.  You may or may not have hsv1 based on the testing you had done. chances are good that you do but the test didn't look for it specifically.
