Your first post indicated symptoms that were not indicative of herpes. Also, the tongue is not usually where herpes is found. That's why it doesn't sound like herpes.

Then you come back and say you were swabbed and it was herpes. You're going to have to go by what your "real life" doctor tells you and keep following up if there are doubts about the diagnosis. HSV1 isn't a big deal anyway if that's what it is.

I'm only asking for your help because I got sick...I went to the doctor..I had lesions on my tongue. She called me a week later and said I had herpes, but they couldn't tell what kind...that I would have to take a blood test. But you have stated that it is most likely not herpes....so I don't know, I just needed some more input... I just took a blood test, but have not gotten my results yet.

Did you have these current tongue symptoms cultured or was it past tongue symptoms you had cultured as herpes?

Like waring I'm kinda confused why you are asking this if you've already had them cultured and don't need our help with it?

"Weather" it was type 1 or type 2? (cringes)

So if you had a swab test, why are you here? Shouldn't you be following up with the doctor?
