I came back positive for HPV 2 today, the test was taken at three weeks after a particular encounter where no condom was used. Can I test positive this fast after.
Yea that's what i meant. I had never been tested, but I had never had burning during urination until a certain encounter.

How were you tested? If it was a blood test, what were you results?
And yes, about 1/2 of folks will test + on the igg blood test 2-3 weeks after being infected. Had you ever been tested before if you were tested using an igg blood test?
