can the herpes viral infection cause pinching in vagina during menstrual cycle?

I'm a 21 yr old female just diagnosed with the herpes virus. Other health issues include sleep apnea, low thyroid, gall bladder taken out, tonsils out, tubes in ears, etc. But my concern is whether the herpes virus can cause a pinchING feeling in the vagina during the menstrual cycle? Normally, I do not cramp like this during this time. Especially in that area and the way ut hurt. Sometimes after the pinch, I can feel a gush of bloody discharge. I also had a blood clot the size of my thumb I would say. I would also like to note that when I found out I had herpes, I couldn't afford the medicine and still can't, therefore u never taken medication for it, but used a cream and my outbreak went away after a week. Could me not taking my medication for herpes cause that pain? Is this pinching feeling something I should be concerned about?

you'll need to call and find out what testing you had done. if it was a lesion culture, find out if it was hsv1 or hsv2.

the free herpes handbook at www.westoverheights.com is a terrific place to start educating yourself about herpes :)

To be honest with u, I went to the emergency room in Lancaster, oh.. they only diagnosed me saying I had genital herpes. After getting tested the doctor wrote me a script because he said he was sure that I had herpes. He sent the test to the lab and they called me a week later and told me to make sure I take the medicine provided by the doctor. They didn't say what line of herpes.. just herpes.. im new to this so I'm not too sure how many different kind of herpes there are. Should the doctor have been more explanatory.... or however u would put it..

no this doesn't sound like herpes causing your symptoms.

you never, ever, ever have to treat your herpes. acyclovir ointment is relatively ineffective for herpes and we don't recommend its use since all it is is a waste of your hard earned money.  If you have a prescription and are in the US, you can treat each ob with acyclovir pills for $4 if your provider writes the prescription the way walmart needs it written to get that price.

you need to be seen and find out what is going on.
