The unasked question, please help

There is a girl I've been friends with for a while but just recently we hooked up for the first time. I knew going into the encounter she had genital hsv 2, yet I performed oral on her anyway (no visible outbreak) knowing the low risk level of contracting oral hsv 2. After doing so there was some kissing and then she performed oral on me, my problem here is she has her tongue pierced and it never occurred to me, could I have picked up shedding orally contaminated the tongue ring and have contracted it myself? Since the morning after the encounter I've had a sensation in my penis when I'm about to urinate like its going to burn to do so and then it does not. I have also had an almost constant urge to urinate. Also all of this took place 2 days ago on the 3rd day of a 4 day heavy drinking binge so for now I'm staying optimistic its some result of that.

oral sex isn't safe sex. even what is normal bacteria in the mouth, isn't so normal in the urogenital tract.  add in the irritation from a tongue piercing and this could be any number of things going on for you.

at this point, you need to be seen today or tomorrow and get some basic urine testing done and go from there.  in the future, always protect yourself and only have protected sexual contact!

have you ever been tested for herpes before yourself?

does this sound like genital herpes going on? no it does not.
