All the best to you. I hope things are much better soon.
** I also saw an infectious disease doctor at the beginning of December - C-Reactive Protein Test, Lupus Analyzer, CBC - All normal ** Still no Western Blot for Herpes, I don't know why because he also suggested that I might not have HSV 2, it doesn't really matter either way though because the damage has been done and it's not going to make feel any better or change my reality either way.
****, more than half of my reply got cut off. ugh, ignore that first comment .
No history of Rhemuatoid or any of that stuff in my family or my life. Extremely clean bill of health my entire life, also I went and got tested every 6 months of my life. I have paper work from January of 2013 that says
HSV 1 and 2 Less than 0.2 Negative.
So no, it is not likely that I have had HSV 1 most of my life.
I got chlamydia from this girl, I got herpes from this girl. Things come in three's right?
There is NO way what's going on with me is not going to have something to do with my night with this girl. There is NO way it is a coincidence that I went from being in the best shape of my life - physically and mentally - to just falling apart rapidly. November marked 8 months since the night I ruined my life and HIV is still coming up negative but at this point if this isn't some extremely random and unfortunate case of Herpes how could I think it's anything other than HIV?
Fleetwood you said to keep seeking a diagnosis from medical advisors. They couldn't even handle a ******* blood test. I have ZERO faith in any of these doctors at this point. I am lucky enough to have insurance until July, but other than that I am like most people in the US. Living alone, supporting myself and pretty effin broke. I have spent every dollar I've made chasing this all summer. Here is everything I've been through more or less in chronological order
CBC - elevated Eosinophils that nobody mentions
STD test - They don't check for everything - and a Throat Culture
Useless ENT visit - thanks for the penicillin in spite of all tests suggesting anything but bacterial
Another CBC (she left out the differentials) as well as Comprehensive Metabolic, TSH, and Diabetes test. "prescribes" Zantac for my throat because it must be red from refluxing. *___*
Sleep Study
Gastroenterologist - Endoscopy - diagnosed with Eosinophilic Esophagitis
Cardiologist - EKG, stress test, Ultrasound of Heart - all come back normal tells me not to worry about my heart beating out of my chest (see video), it's "normal"
Allergist - Skin Prick Test, H. Pylori test, Pancreatic Enzyme test, IgE test ( IgE are through the roof, > 566 )
Random GP visit - blood tests for multiple autoimmune, all comes back normal
Pulmonologist - Another CBC and Lymes test, Pulmonary Function Test,
Bronchoscopy. Everything looks clean but it is now on paper that I physically can not take a full breath.
New Cardiologist - Stress Echo, all looks normal explains to me that heart may be popping out of my chest due to a random "hernia". Just a random hole in the middle of my diaphragm for whatever reason that occurred.
GP - New STD test and Lead Test.
Present Day - Going on yahoo answers and asking what questions you wish you could ask someone who has committed suicide so I can address them in my FAQ (calling it a note really wouldn't do it justice) as a precautionary measure to doing something stupid since that seems to be the motif of my life here. --- --Relax, I don't want to do this, I'm just acknowledging that it's crossing my mind a lot and you never know what could happen. That's why they call it snapping right?
What would you do? Honestly what would you do next as far as doctors go? I feel like I've covered everything at this point.

you will need to confirm your hsv2 status with further testing. you are hsv1+ and have never had genital symptoms so your result of under 5 needs confirmed. if you are in the US, you can seek out a herpes WB blood test. how to do so is listed in our read before posting post on the forum.
is this a herpes issue causing you all these symptoms? no it is not. herpes esophagitis doesn't present like this as well as has clear periods of absolutely no symptoms at all. if you've followed up with an ENT specialist for your throat/GERD issues, they would've easily seen symptoms of it if it was active at the time.
Be sure to follow up with a rheumatologist too if you haven't already. sometimes they are good at putting the "big picture" together from what other specialists have done so far. Make sure you are changing your diet for the reflux issues as well as treating it.
best of luck getting to the bottom of it all so you feel better soon :)
In all likelihood, you have had HSV1 since childhood. With no cold sore outbreaks, your body is coping very well with the virus. There is no real reason for your doctors to suspect HSV is causing the symptoms you describe.
Acyclovir is more effective against HSV1 than it is HSV2. In documented cases of herpes outside the oral region, such as spine/brain, antiviral medication has proven highly effective in most every case. If it isn't evading your symptoms, then that is further potential, evidence that your symptoms are not HSV related.
It is advisable to continue your diagnosis pathways with medical advisors.
**EDIT** they never checked for HSV the first time I asked to be checked for everything (back in May) could have saved a lot of time and money if I had known earlier, not to mention not putting people at risk all summer.
