It is extremely difficult to transfer a HSV infection from one ganglion to another, it simply doesn't practically happen. The swabs are confirming this. No need to suspect you have genital herpes.
I know I def have HSV 1 I've been getting cold sores since high school.and my blood test came back positive for HSV 1 and negative for hsv 2 and I've been tested over four times and all same results...really just scared I might have transferred it down there...also anytime I get a bump down there I get it swabbed right away and it comes back negative for any type of herpes!!!
Hi, if no sores show up a week after tingling it would not be related. Have a blood test if your concerned about herpes. Tingling is a prodrome term used mostly for those who already have herpes and can be used as a tool to predict coming outbreaks, not so much for newly infected people.
