Tiny pinsized red dots

Ok, so about 2 weeks ago I had unprotected sex with this girl I've been talking to. We only had unprotected sex once and the rest I used a condom. A week later after some rough dry masturbation, I noticed a redness on the side of my shaft and right under my head on my penis. It wasnt just an inflammation, but like 4 or 5 tiny tiny pin sized red dots. I applied some lotion for the next few days and it cleared up within like 2 days. I, then, thought it was ok to masturbate again with some lotion this time and they 1 or 2 of the same dots have appeared again. Its right below the corona and where you pull back the foreskin, right under the head. I've had no symptoms of any kind, no burning, no pain, only a slight itch, but not enough of an itch to make me worry.

Is it because of just too much irritation on the skin? or could it possible signs of an STD?
I'm a huge worry wart so this has added way too much stress on me.

Like I said they aren't sores or anything just pin sized dots. I'm going tot he Dr. tomorrow, but I'd just like to know if anyone thinks its something I should worry about?

I really believe that it is wrong to tell someone "It is not herpes".  That is what my Dr told me when I went in for my exam and he was looking right at it..not on a computer any number of miles away.  IT WAS HERPES....The only way to know is to GET TESTED!

I belong to a Herpes support group and the one thing that I have learned is that it can appear as anything from full blown blisters to little red bumps or just a light rash...

This very well COULD BE Herpes or it very well could be something else...Herpes usually takes longer to go away but again it is different for each person.

PLEASE GET TESTED!  Ask for the blood test.  It is more accurate than the swab test.

Alright thank you, I've been worried sick that it was herpes, although no symptoms match.

Ya, it usually happens after rough sex or masturbation
I read bursted blood vessels could be the cause too?

No, its not herpes, but ask about a fungal infection.  Make sure to explain that it only happens with ejaculation.

Don't use any lotion on it tonight, though if you want him to see them, you might want to ejaculate tonight.
