What are my chances of getting herpetic whitlow?
So i was diagnosed with hsv2 in 2016, however I believe I contracted it almost 6 years ago. Recently i masterbated and while doing so i touched what felt like bumps. I finished masturbating then washed my hands thoroughly. Then had my bf check to see if the bumps were a herpes outbreak starting. He said it just looked irritated. Also the next day in the shower i couldnt feel any bumps and there wasnt an outbreak. So my question is could i have a hsv2 outbreak with just the bumps and then it can go away the next day and if it was an outbreak can i get herpetix whitlow from touching the bumps and not washing my hands right away?
