Which IgG Specific test for HSV 1 and 2

Looking at requestatest.com offers for remote HSV exposure specific tests for type 1 and 2.  It has been 16 wks since an incident I am concerned about. The difference in costs is $50 with the IGg ABS being $129 and the HerpeSelect® Immunoblot being $179.  I have no visible lesions or outbreak so far but some of the other sx associated with herpes which makes me want to test.  Wanted to purchase the best one I can without doing the Westernblot for now.

The HepeSelect Immunoblot just tells you Positive or Negative while the ABS version of the test gives numeric values.  I hear the HerpeSelect is a little more sensitive.

Which one do does anyone suggest?     Thanks

Yes, numbers contain information. Do the herpes select type specific.

So I would want to pick the $129 which is the IgG ABS Select 1 &2 and not the immunoblot as mentioned so I can get actual numbers - do I understand you correctly?

Hi, the herpes select is good as numbers indicate new or old.
