Does this sound like herpes?

Hello all,

36 days ago I had condom protected vaginal sex and oral sex with a sex worker except for about 15-20 seconds of unprotected licking and sucking of scrotum. I'm worried that contact with my scrotum has lead to herpes/STIs. I have had no signs of sores, no itching out of ordinary, no painful urination, no nausea however there is some radiating pain in my thighs, down my legs and into my feet as well as groin pain. Also I've had a cramped abdomen and some pain in my fingers/hand and across shoulder blades. Does any of this sound like herpes? I'm constantly checking my scrotum and genital area for sores. How obvious would they be? What would they look like?

Thank you.

Can you imagine such diffuse symptoms being chocked up to anxiety and stress about this? Was your anxiety about this similar?

Stress causes all sorts of problems including back and let pain. I'm not saying all this is the case. All I'm saying  is when people become genitaly focused then read the symptoms list, then they think everything is hsv related

I've read online that you can have an outbreak without sores which is why I'm concerned.

The problem with this type of information is understanding the context. First off you seem to have convinced yourself herpes is probable. It surely isn't. The overwhelming odds are in your favor. Stress can cause these same symptoms. I know that from experience.
So is it possible to have outbreaks without lesions? Sure, but it's very rare. So add up your very nontypical symptoms and basically no real risk. It's hard for me to believe hsv is the cause
Ok, thank you for clarifying. I made the common mistake of Googling every little symptom. I intend to get tested anyway at the proper time. What point from encounter would testing be accurate?
8 weeks is a good indicator and twelve weeks is considered conclusuve
Ok I think I should just wait the 12 weeks unless something changes. Thank you for your continued help.
You're welcome and try not to stress. I've been at this for some time. I would be absolutely shocked if you had hsv from this encounter.  Just not a realistic possibility

Do you mind explaining why none of that sounds herpes related? Ive read online that leg/groin pain is a symptom. Is it that these things would always be accompanied by sores?

That's correct. Ymrandom pains are not hsv1 related in the absence of ever having sores. You also had as close to zero risk as one can have. Scrotums are so rarely infected and your condom is very effective for a one time sexual encounter.  Knowing what I know i wouldnt be the slightest bit concerned.

The most recent symptom to worry me is tingling in my anus. Now, admittedly, I had a tingling pain in my lower buttocks before this encounter so I could attribute it to that. How soon after having tingling in an area would a sore appear? It's been 4 days for sure (but perhaps 5 or 6). I'm constantly worried that every blemish on my scrotum and anus is a sore lol

I should also add occasional pain at the very tip of my penis (but not while urinating) and this seemed to appear around the same time as the tingling anus.
I think you are just hyper aware and some of these sensations you would normally not worry about. Nothing you describe leads me to believe this is hsv

Absolutely not herpes related at all. First off, the scrotum is very rarely infected due to the very thick skin. You needn't worry about this encounter and the symptoms you describe are not herpes related.
