Genital herpes but no oral herpes?

I was just diagnosed with genital herpes yesterday. (I have another post on here about it.) But this is my question now... I not only had vaginal sex with the carrier but also oral. Both received and given. I do not have oral herpes, just vaginal. Is it possible I'm going to contract it or am I clear since I don't already have it?

Also, I did not notice the carrier having breakouts on their penis when we had sex. But I did notice a cold sore on their lip. (They told me it was a burn from eating hot noodles. Obviously I'm thinking differently now...) Could I have gotten vaginal herpes from them performing oral sex on me with a cold sore?
