Yeast Infection or Herpes?

My girl friend at the time of possible infection was having yeast infections/bactiera infections/uti.  She told me she had done research and found out that since she had a yeast infection she could have passed it to me. We were fighting already and I had broken up with her the week I noticed a sore(did not break up with her for infection).

I went to my doctor and he said it looked like herpes based off the grouping of blister/sore.  he recommended I go to the free clinic.  So I did:

I tested negative during/towards the end of my first "outbreak", blood, culture, and std testing and they were all negative.

What my questions are:

-how closely can yeast infections resemeble herpes?

-I've read they do blister, so does it also reoccur?

-Does stress bring upon yeast infections? i know weakened immune systems do and I had an outbreak while I was cutting weight.

I also eat a lot of pizza....like..a lot.

I also had a fungal infection (I believe) above the crack of my butt, but never blisters or sores, just itchy bumps.

The girl I was with tested multiple times, and from what she says, they were negative results.

I plan to get retested.

Thank you so so so much for any advice, this has put my love life on hold (which is fine, I've learned a lot from this)
but I would like to know if I am a carrier of Hsv 2.

Im sorry, Ive got one more question.

Would a blood test after this last outbreak has almost healed will it still be a reliable test? I was scheduled to go during an outbreak but i was in an accident that morning....

Thank you, knowing that it is now 6 months after possible exposure I hope these results will be negative as well lol

She said she was tested while we were dating for the UTI and what not and said she was clear. said she has been tested since then and both times have been negative.  I dont know if i can trust her though.

Im sorry I missed some of your questions..

I cant remember but I want to say I had the weird feeling in my leg one day.  and swollen lymph nodes at the appointments.  (which i would assume was an infection if not hsv)

Im not sure if it was type specific, which is why Im going to get retested and make sure, but the lady who was examining me understood i believe what it was i wanted done.

And the last time we were together was probably around the 20th-25th

Yeah that was my concern as well as far as the culture goes, they said I would expect a call around  (i believe if the results were pos.) so I called and they said they were negative, until they got the results back. Sore was present maybe October 6th, I know it was on the 6th, because that was the day we broke up.  I visited my primary care doctor on the 8th.

so possible exposure:  sept 25
sore was def. present - October 6th,
test date: sometime after the 8th, a week or almost 2?
I want to say it took 30 days for the results...so i maybe got them back the 30th of November? but I'm not positive, I do know it was the end of the month though

sounds like your lesion culture was done far too late into symptoms?  how many days had you had symptoms before it was done?

what herpes blood testing was done?

how long prior to your blood testing had you last had sex/oral sex with your partner?

Also I know symptoms vary, but does the way it heals also vary?

The thing that leads me to believe this isn't herpes is I never had a problem when I was with this girl until I tore some skin (like friction burn) and I am kind of hoping some bacteria or a fungus got in my skin and now it comes back because I haven't taken the steps to rid it completely of my system.

I've seen you answer posts with really sound advice and guidance, I know I need to be retested.
