anal herpes

i was with a girl who put her finger in my anus after lubricating with a liquid hand soap. there was no other sexual contact other than masturbation. i am not sure, but she may, a some point, have touched her vagina with the finger she inserted in my anus. about 5 days later i noticed an itchiness in my anus and then 8 days later i had pain while passing a stool and some small amout of blood. no other unusual symptoms. i am not sure whether this is a sign of an STD (eg herpes or gonorrhea) or the consequence of the liquid soap causing irritation. i saw the response to another post on this site which stated that herpes could not be passed on through intermediary contact like fingers and tongues. is this correct? how long after herpes infection do the lesions usually take to burst and cause bleeding - can it happen this fast? am i worryng unnecessarily?

This is not due to herpes acquired from this encounter.  Sounds more like general irritation from soap and friction of anal stimulation without a proper lube.

follow up on this with your provider.
