As a reminder to everyone who may be reading this: make sure you're testing at least 16 weeks from last possible exposure for conclusive IgG test results. As it can take anywhere from 3-4 months for someone to fully seroconvert.
I Just Had The Same Thing Happen. First IgG Came Back 1.0 For Hsv2.
2 Weeks Later, Negative @ .3. It Was A Crazy 2 Weeks!
Good lesson. Low positive HSV2 IgG results often are false. With HerpeSelect, the most commonly used test, 1.1 is offiically positive but only results of 3.5 or higher are proof of infection.
