burning urethra
9 days ago I had sex with a girl i met off the internet and she claimed she didnt have no stds, and told me the past history of her sex partners. I used a condom on her, but i did 69 with her and went down on her while she went down on me. Next day i started having burning symptoms in my penis and it hurts till now and when I pee. When i am finishing peeing, it burns bad. I did go on a self administered dose of acyclovir in 24 hours after sex and was taking cipro, however this could be herpes, but I have no lesions. Is it possible I killed the herpes virus before it started and what can this be symptoms of. I also am feeling swollen inguinal lymph nodes. This girl still claims she gave me nothing. Please help me!

i was diagnosed with hsv 2 over a decade ago and have been in the same monogamous relationship since. a little over 2 yrs ago we separated for several months but then got back together, upon getting back together we had unprotected sex. shortly thereafter i began to feel larthargic followed by extreme abdominal pain. upon going to my doctor to get acyclovir it provided no relief and the pain(infection) began to feel as though it had reached my bloodstream. i"m still suffering with this pain and no doctor or testing has provided any answers. i now have bumps all over my back(last for about 2-3 WKS)and the bumps are now in my face with a rash. i suspect that i"m suffering with a reinfection but medical providers and others state that the HSV visrus doesn't travel though out the body's bloodstream. Please Help
You should be seen by your provider for a proper work up. There is no way an antibody test will show your status from this early.on. You have to wait 12 weeks for an accurate blood test. At this point being seen is the only thing you can do.
but can cipro cause symptoms for two weeks and i am feeling pressure below my abs and tenderness in my stomach. I had and still have a swollen ankle for 3 weeks now, can that be the cause of my swollen right lymph node in my inguinal region. I looked up on a website and it said something about it being the primary herpes outbreak and before sores coming it because my penis does hurt a little and feels scratchy at times. But I have not seen a lesion yet. I think its mono and what should I do, should I get a herpes AB test?
you didn't contract hiv from unprotected oral sex. you had protected sex which also is incredibly low risk. also hiv symptoms do not present that quickly.
sounds like this is more non-std related things going on more than anything. also the antibiotics you had will make you feel nausea as well as might give you gas/loose stools which can give you abdominal pain too.

hey i went to the doctor and they did a urine analysis and conducted that there is nothing wrong with my urine. They did a rectal exam and conducted a swab for chlymidia and gonorhea and I told them i took cipro. They gave me an injection of ceftriaxone and 1000mg azithro. I am still feeling nauseated, loss of apetite, minor aches and no fever. I have swollen lymph nodes in my neck, armpits and one in my groin area. I currently have a sore throat, minor burning urination now and pain in my abdomen area. Is their a slight chance this can mono or symptoms of hiv?
you have done yourself a great disservice by self treating without getting tested properly first. At this point you won't get quick answers as to what is going on.
I'd stop all medications , wait 72 hours and be seen for a proper exam. let them know you were on cipro too.
