can herpes spread to new location or was I in contact with the herpes virus?

Iwas diagnosed in Aug after noticing a few blisters on myinner labia. No outbreaks since, until new years I noticed Alot of itching & some discomfort. Couple days later, I had a red spot. No bumps or blisters, & in a diff location than my initial outbreak. I had sex 3 days prior. Does a new location mean this person gave me a new infection?  How does one suddenly get this in a new spot? My understanding is that recurrences happen in previous locations/spots & don't appear in new locations.

I took my shower, checked out the spot.. It's pink, normal skin now bit where the red spit was, shows what looks like tiny hole. Like spider bite. Lol slight round raised bump no fluid filled, but I'd hate to think a spider was down there!!!

There was no oral. I assume it's amild outbreak because there was some tingling and itching prior. I don't know what else would cause a round spot that hurt once in awhile, like cracking skin.

Hi and your mostly correct that they occur in the same spot but thats not a law as can appear anywhere in the boxer short area. First we dont know if this is an outbreak and very well maynot be. May be just a irritation from the sex 3 days ago. And if you have hsv2 and he gave you oral sex and he had a lip sore maybe its hsv1?
One thing a person should do with genital herpes is confirm that they are outbreaks with a doctor other wise any new sore or any irritation you will think is an outbreak.
