this sounds more like a canker sore. Doesn't mean that you don't also have oral herpes, just means that this symptom sounds like a canker sore.

Thanks Grace, would it be wise to be STD tested or should i wait for a certain period so there are no false negative results?
if the only contact was oral sex, it's probably not worth any testing to be honest. It's totally up to you. If you do get testing done, be sure to mention that it was just oral sex so that they swab the oral area and not take an urine specimen.

Well i also did have sexual intercourse.I havn't experienced anything on my penis but do feel a little tingling at the tip. This however i have experienced before ,usually from sitting for long periods. How long before symptoms usually show up...especially lesions/blisters after intial contact?Would it be easy to tell if they were caused by herpes...easy to distinguish?I don't have any bumps or pimples on my penis and the sexual conntact i had last was on Dec 17th.
was it protected sex?
grace
No...hate to say it..bad judgement but i didn't use protection.
If it was unprotected sex then you need a full std panel to check for std's if you are concerned. The symptoms in your mouth really sound like a typical canker sore though. The friction of performing oral can trigger them.

I went for some std testing.Think it was just for Gonareha and Chlaymidia. The docotor took a swab and a urine sample.I havn't seen any lesions or blisters anywhere other then the Canker sore iniside my bottom lip.Which i can't see now.My lips still seem chapped and are sore especially in the corners..i think that is just due to cold weather. The doctor gave me medication...Cefixime and Azirthomycin. Not sure how long it will take to clear things up if it does.Took them yesterday morning...still feeling some soreness at the tip of my penis.I am getting extrememly parinoid and always looking and examing my genitals and mouth area.Do blisters and lesions usually appear sooner?I had sexual contact on Dec 17!
