I had a one night stand 8 weeks ago.Two days after sex with the lady i had a burning sensation at the tip of my penis.Couple days later i had visit the doctor. He gave me a z-pack and doxycycline for treatment. The doxycycline gave me really bad side effect,so i had to stop taking it.the burning feeling had gone away that week.I had all std test icluding herpes, everything came back negative.   Week 2 i still had crazy abnormal thing happening to me,my  mouth tingling, leg tingling, buttock burning, gential area tingling and irrated uthera but no outbreaks.i had visited a urologist that same week .He first gave me  med. to treat uti and schedule me for a cstogram the following week.. Before the cystogram the irration had gone,he still preform the procedure and found nothing.Week 3 now my penis was tingling more and legs. That same  week my wife and i had unprotected sex.Two days later she had a yeast infection.the doctor gave her clotrimzole and betamethasone, she used this for two days then she was ok.Week 4 I felt very fatigue, joint pain, muscle pain that come and go,eyes ache, headache and confusion.I had gone back to the doctor he gave me Diflucan and ibuprofen.after taking ibupofen/Diflucan a linear lesson appeared on the head of my penis. the lesion was the same color of the skin, it did not turn color or burst open. The leson gradually going down. The very next day i visited a dermatologist he said it was a localize drug effect, and he told me it nothing. He gave me desonide lotion. Week 5 I had little joint pain/muscle ache,, my skin became very irritrated between my legs.Week 6 i had another herpes test that came back negative . Week 7 beginning of the week it seem i had i little discharge from my penis. When i bend over i had a shap pain at the head of my penis. Then i had a little irritiration from my uthera couple days. a different dermatologist he told me that i had lichen planus and gave a tropical steroid to take.Could i have herpes in my uthera?

I suppose it could be prostatitis.  The would best be evaluated by a urologist, a specialist in men's health issues.

This is the last post that I will make to this thread.

I seriously doubt that your symptoms are related in any way to genital/urethral herpes.  Did you test negative for HSV 1 and HSV 2?  You've had many physician visits with many different treatments and interventions and ideas about what's going on.  You've been treated appropriately for chlamydia, you've had your urethra evaluated with a scope and you've had a dermatologist look carefully at your skin.  Now, I believe you need to start dealing with the psychological aspect of what happened here.  You had sex with someone other than your wife.  You are terrified that you may have contracted something that you could give her, and although I'm not saying this is all in your head, because I'm sure you are feeling things, my guess is that you are noticing things now that you might never have noticed in the past in the genital area.

So my medical response is that you should believe your herpes antibody tests that say you are not infected.  My counselor answer is that you need to talk this experience over with a professional to work on your guilt and fear about this encounter.
