confused about hsv2,Fungal infection

My symptoms started in may2013 ,after receiving unprotected oral in march 2013 from a girl who later told me she had both HSV1&2,there was no vaginal penetration but i touched her vagina with my fingers,April went to my PCP had full std panel came back negative, never tested for herpes,im positive for HSV1,i remember having a cold sore twice in my life, preceded by horrible COLD/FLU,Recently i have been having irritated meatus, stinging, burning sensation when it rubs on my briefs,i stopped wearing boxer shorts cause my penis movement rubs on clothing and is painful,i went back to my PCP in July looked at my penis didnt think it was HSV2 gave me triamcinolone cream 0.1% PRN,Irritation is worse on some days than others seems the more i obsess over it the more i get irritations,Feb 2014 went to see Urologist urine test negative, urologist examined my penis no lesion, digital rectal exam he said feels normal, told  me to see him in 3months if symptoms persist, could this be a weird HSV2,FUNGAL OR BACTERIAL SKIN infection..........PLEASE HELP.

Hey Bravo.  It wouldn't be hsv-1 or hsv-2.  You already have had hsv-1 since you where younger so your body has already developed the antibodies for this virus.  Acquiring is genitally is highly unlikely for people that already have antibodies produced for this virus.  hsv-2 orally is very very rare and if it does happen it is typically in men that have sex with other men.  Touching her vagina would not cause hsv-2 symptoms on your genitals.

If your last sexual exposure was in may then you can always get the hsv igg type specific blood test to rule out herpes.  you can find a clinic here that is located by you, s t d e x p r e s s .c o m

This sounds like it could be fungal.  Try washing with dove soap for a few weeks and make sure to dry your genitals very very good after getting out of the shower.  Moist hot environments is what fungus likes.  The perfect habitat on your genitals.
