WHY???????????

If herpes can have no symptoms and can be UNDETECTED by a blood test and there is no cure for HERPES, why get tested?? The same goes for HEP A, B, and C

No, a blood test is 100% accurate. Where did you hear that?

Why get tested? Because it's still the best indicator of whether or not you have it. Yes, there are false positives, or false negatives, or whatever they are called. But stop getting sucked into "what's the point of getting tested" due to some irrational fear that you will be the one with the strange or off-kilter test result.

What you are doing is rationalizing. And you are using bogus reasons for your rationalization. If you think you have been exposed, get tested. But stop using pathetic excuses like "the test results are inaccurate" to excuse yourself from engaging in responsible behavior around your sexuality. Yeesh.

What a great idea :) lets not get tested for an infection, spread it to everyone without thinking, and potentially cause complications like children born with severe herpes complications.

The point in getting tested is to minimize transmission and prevent such unfortunate incidents.
