I'm having similar issues, Its been almost 7 months since my last possible exposure of having protected with a stripper, It did not last too long and was 100% protected, i've had many weird and crazy things happen to me except for an outbreak down there. Fever, Dry Cough, lower back pains, knee aches, blurred vision, neuroligical issues, blisters on my head, found a few strange itchy insect bites on my body one on my back and one on my shoulder, pain, redness, swollen gums, swollen lymph nodes in the neck, and burning instantly after having sex. I've taken 2 Type Specific tests one at 5 months and another a little over 6 months which all have come back negative. Its driving me nuts I would have given the stripper double the money if she told me she had something and not of touched her. Ive seen numerous doctors and no one seems to have an answer, one doc actually told me I have herpes because an IgM test came back positive. Good Luck to you I hope we can get on with our lives and have our health back again.
No, you should not test for herpes again. That is not going to be useful at all. Your tests are negative and your contact was not risky. The symptoms that you list are not herpes specific, but rather general dermatologic conditions/symptoms. Everyone I know gets pimples on their bottom and thighs from time to time, and I'll bet you did before this encounter, even though now, they have new meaning for you.
I hope you will work hard to put this behind you and move on, reassured that you don't have herpes.
