could this be herpes?

Hi for a couple of years now i have had a small pink patch on my foreskin it never used to itch and never hurts or causes me pain, it looks almost like scar tissue.  I am quite a heavy masterbater so i put it down to that.  Quite recently though my foreskin has been harder to pull back and i have a slight itch at the very end of my foreskin.  When i pull back my foreskin it looks a little swollen hence the harder to pull back part.  I have also noticed whitish bits which i now have to clean under my foreskin.

I Tend to randomly itch around my body but im not sure if thats just stress worrying about this or if im just looking into it too much.

My only past knowledge is that i had a wart under my foreskin a coulpe of years ago which was treated and cleared up.
My thoughts and fears were it was herpes or thrush...

Thx so much in advance

No, this doesn't sound like herpes to me at all, but it does sound like it could be a fungal infection.  A quick lab test in the office could determine the fungal part.  Its kind of important that you get this resolved so it doesn't progress to a time when it will be really difficult to retract the foreskin.

One can best know if they have herpes by having a type specific antibody blood test (IgG) or a swab from a specific lesion.  But this symptoms doesn't sound herpetic to me.
