No Symthoms 2 tests one pos one neg

So I am getting married on the 20th and decided for my fiancee's protection that i would get tested.  I used a testing facility from (tstd.org was a hole in the wall by the wat) had all 7 tests run HSV2 came back positive with an IgG of 1.53, i guess the line is <.90, subsequently i went to my doctor  at Kaiser Permanente to get checked he had the lab draw my blood after fasting (was getting other blood work also) my HSV results came back and he said it was negative but said there was not way to be sure which is right.  I have never had any symptoms that are like any of the pictures or as described by people.  Is there any way to be sure and how can the blood work be conflicting?
P.S. All other tests for STD's have been negative to include HSV1 .

thanks

Your first + hsv2 result was a low positive and well within the usual potentially false positive range.  It's up to you if you feel the need to repeat it since your 2nd test was negative.  If you do, make sure it's with either a herpes WB or a biokit hsv2 blood test.

Hello. I've been having similar issues with the standard blood draw HSV IgG tests they perform in the clinic. There is another option known as the Western Blot Test, which is far more sensitive and specific for HSV2. I would recommend tha you request this test, as it is the BEST test out there for detecting HSV1 and HSV2. You should speak to your physician and find out if this is a test he/she is willing to get in for you. I certainly empathize with you and wish you the best of luck at getting the answer you're looking for.
