freaking out!

hi there I'm currently petrified! I haven't had sex since may which was a long term partner.. I shaved about a week ago and when the hair started growing back in I started to get a bit of a itch which I thought was thrush. I noticed a slight lump on the inside of the lip I thought it might of been a ingrown hair but it's been nearly 2 weeks now and there is like 3 small spots in that area and it is really painfull! I have been itching because the first one was very uncomfortable but now I'm worried it may be herpes. it's like 3x little sores which are a bit scabby atm but there is defnatley a lump there I can't go to the local gum until Thursday. I just need a honest opinions because I just have a awful feeling I have herpes and keep bursting out in tears.

I went to family planning today she said I need the proper gum clinic but said it looks like herpes just don't know what to do.

Go to the gum clinic. A lot of things look like herpes. That's why a visual diagnosis is never enough. Even a expert can be wrong almost 50% of the time. Get the area tested

I doubt hsv is the cause of this. Hsv lesions progress quickly from spot to fluid filled blister type lesions.  Keep us posted on what the gum clinic thinks.
