friction burn or worse

i am an uncircumsized male and i frequently masturbate , especially in the mornings. i don't really use lubrication for this and had been doing it more frequent of late and i had noticed that i was working the head alot (it takes me a long time) and it was a little sore, a few days after i noticed the tenderness me and a guy had sex and he did'nt have any lube and inspite of this we had sex anyway(i'm like a camel it had been like 6 months) and it was kinda painful because of the tug of the skin being pulled back, (this always happens especially when i use a condum) during intercourse and i've noticed in thespot where my foreskin joins the penis at the head was really sore for a few days afer that and it looked like i had a rugburn. It's been a couple weeks and i've had intercourse again (with lube) but we were kinda rough and the head is still kinda of red.It does'nt hurt to pee or anything and i can touch it and it feels fine but it's still pretty red should i be worried? (i have made a slightly succesfull effort to curtail the masturbation)

the rates of hsv2 infections in gay males are very high. this could be many things going on but certainly no more sex until it's healed and follow up on this properly with your provider. you can get tested for herpes 3 months after the last time you had sex with a type specific herpes igg blood test. if you are having unprotected sex with your partners, be sure to cover other std bases too ( you only mentioned a lack of lube, not if you used condoms or not ).
