genital herpes?

I married 10 months ago and I didn't had any sexula relationship before that. I took a herpes blood test after 2 weeks of feeling pain and observing a lesion (like a white colored pimple) close to my rectum. there were some lesions in my cervix that doctor made a biopsy from them. the result of the biopsy was nothing except candidia. the result of herpes is as follows:
Herpes type 1 IgM & IgG :positive
Herpes type 2 IgM: positive
Herpes type 2 IgG: negative
My doctor told me that I have genital herpes and asked my husband to do the herpes blood test.
Do I really have genital herpes? Is that true that IgM test results are not reliable? how long does it take after outbreaks for IgG2 to show positive in the test?

you can also have hsv1 genitally too. at this point getting him tested is a step in the right direction. If your symptoms return, be seen within 48 hours of their appearance for proper lesion culture and typing also.

I have to mention that my partner is the only sexual partner that I ever had and I have not been in relationship with anybody.

Thank you very much grace
what about if my partner's IgG test for herpes type 2 comes out Negative? It means that he doesn't have genital herpes? or he could have gotten the virus recently from somebody els and needs more time for IgG to show positive?

it was far too early for herpes blood testing to be accurate on you. the herpes igm test is also a greatly flawed test that isn't recommended to be used on adults for the purpose of diagnosing herpes. Your provider needs to look over the 2010 cdc herpes guidelines and update their testing knowledge!!!

It also sounds like your provider didn't do the right lesion culture for herpes on your cervix either :(  If they were properly testing for herpes, it wouldn't have come back + for yeast.

at this point your partner needs tested for herpes to know their status and go from there.
