genital hsv 1 and yeast infections

In January i was diagnosed with genital hsv 1 during my primary outbreak. It cleared up before the test results came back so I did not take acyclovir for it. However, at the same time i was diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis which I have never had before. I was given metronidazole and it went away, a week later, when I learned about the hsv results and went back to ther doctor. She said that the bv went away but I now had a yeast infection which I also had never had before. I was given diflucan I think its called, the one dose pill and the acyclovir for anymore hsv outbreaks. I also began takikng ortho tricyclen lo at this time. Everything was fine until mid February when I started having the tingling feelings of an hsv outbreak so I started the acyclovir and it stopped without ulcering. The nect week I got another yeast infection and it went away after a monistat application. I have another yeast infection rigvht now and have not had to take the acyclovir since last month. I'm wondering if i'm going to have a yeast infection every month now and how common this is for other people with similar situations as myself and how should i go about treating this? Will my body build up immunities to one dose over the counter inserts?

at this point it's best to be following up with your provider when you have symptoms of yeast to get properly tested to make sure yeast really is the issue. sometimes breaking the yeast cycle is hard so it's best for a proper follow up and testing.  bc pills can also add to these issues. you might need to try a different brand to see if that helps too.

Sorry, i forgot to add that from what ive read about other's infections, mine is not that bad. it never itches, isnt red or sore, and doesnt smell bad. I just have thick white discharge constantly and it is slightly uncomfortable when I wipe.
