I am a married male of a wife and 3 children. I have just shamed my family. i believe i have HSV2. I slept with a female for the first time after 15 years of marriage 2 months ago. 4 days ago , i get two rather large boils/pimples on my pubic area. I used a condom but of course a condom doesnt cover entire penis.. I popped one of them thinking it was a pimple. the boils are kind of like cysts. Today i will get tested with a specialist. My life is now over. i dont know how i can tell my wife i contracted this, she will leave me. can i get hsv2 and than never tell her and just continue to take valtrex and not sleep with her when i think i have it?
can i pull this off???????

You are wonderful. Its funny how you were telling me the same exact things the specialist was saying.
i am a jackass. all these posting for nothing. i was sure these boils were hsv2. i got tested for every std imaginable only to be told i have infected hair follicules, not herpes. i will never stray away from my marriage again.
My appt is in two hours. i am going to a world renowed doctor who specializes in STDS, expecially Herpes and HPv. My axiety is getting to me. i didnt see any lesions on this woman, i really hate her for giving me this, but i know its my fault too. the worst case scenario is that i have HPV with Herpes. I couldnt be able to look my wige in the eye and tell her i gave her both. divorce is imminent. i love this woman and my family. humans make the stupidiest mistakes. if i only get one hpv or hsv, atleast i can try to lie and say that i might have always have this. is this truly a disease that millions of people have, are they doing things like trying to find a cure?

if you hadn't had another partner a few months ago, you wouldn't be thinking like this. don't let guilt make you think you had more of a risk than you really did.

The one time enocounter was protected, but is herpes at the site of the location or can it happen everywhere. the boils are on my pubic region, 2 of them. i thought they were little pencil point things. I dont mean to be in panic mode and i know you hear the same song everytime from hundreds of different people. sorry. if i rub herpes on my face can i get it back to my face?.. so sorry if i am asking crazy questions.

herpes doesn't cause cancer.
you aren't likely to get herpes in your eyes with hsv2.
at this point this could be any number of things which is why being seen today or tomorrow is in your best interest. the risk of hsv2 from a one time protected encounter is very, very low.

is there a small chance that it is not hsv2?
or would you assume that it is, could it be hair follicule. i just dont think hair follicules causes a boil like that.

I hear herpes of the eye can cause blindness, how do you get this? also i dont want or need my wife to get cancer, i am a very irrational person at this point. Can i have hsv 2 and your significant other has a chance no to get it. i dont want to give her a death sentence.

At this point you need to find out what is going on. don't poke at these any more. wait and get a lesion culture of the 2nd one that isn't popped.
