herpes basics

Just want some basic questions answered in regards to herpes.

Recently and in the past i have been experiencing itchy and discomfort in my anus area.
Some days I have notice blood when wiping and some left in my underwear.  Some questions in this regard.

1.)  Could this be herpes?  Was never tested for this.  Or hemorrhoids..
2.)  Did not have any contact in my sexual experiences involving my anus?  Could the herpes only show up there anyways?
3.)  No other lesions or blisters that i have noticed or experienced.

Any direction or comments would be greatly appreciated.

you should go and be seen and get a proper exam to better find out what is going on to help reduce your anxiety about this.

No, I have not gone to my provider with my latest issues.
Can my enlarged prostrate also lead to these sorts of conditions?
I have been on flomax for 5 weeks now and my penis discomfort in lessening.

Really what are the chances of this being herpes, with no out breaks, blisters, etc.
In addition, with this being located in such a place.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

You really have no reason to suspect herpes from what you've posted. Did your provider diagnose you with hemorrhoids? it's pretty easy to diagnose them and itching and pain and blood are part of them.  Did they give you suggestions as to how to treat them along with a bowel program?

yes you can have herpes in areas where you never had sexual contact with. Once infected you can have symptoms anywhere in the entire boxer short area as we refer to it.

yes, you can not notice the initial ob of herpes and notice recurrences.

You can have herpes ob's inside the anus but typically they are external for most folks.

Thanks.
Sorry about the second question.  It won't happen again.

I was not tested for herpes, but have been tested negative for others.
I am just hoping to remove herpes from my worries.
Can you provide me more insight?

1.) Can herpes appear in an area that was not in contact during the sexual experience?
2.) Can herpes appear for the first time months after the sexual experience?
3.) Are all herpes outbreaks external?

If you read our read before posting post on this forum you'll see that we ask that you just bump your question back up when it doesn't get answered, not keep making new questions. thank you for your future cooperation with this.

This sounds far more like hemorrhoids than herpes. Have you been seen yet and properly examined?
