herpes or other STDs

Dear Dr, Few times about a year ago I performed Cunnilingus to few prostittutes without knowing the risk of getting stds from the action.

Several weeks after that until now I kept getting bad headache and sore throat, swollen lips and burning inside urethra.

I decided to go to a lab in my country (M'sia) and got the STD test done. All came back negative except HSV with low 1:07 reading. I also went to get my lips swab but the lab technician said they cant do it because there were never blisters available to be swab, just small permanent tiny bubbles which never scab or fade away.

But as you can see from the photo, there is one condition regarding herpetic lips so Im a bit concern about that now. Appreciate if you can help me interpret it:

21/02/2014 -
Herpes Simplex Type I IgG 1.07 (Negative = 1.00) Positive >= 1.00)
Herpes Simplex Type II IgG 0.14 (Negative = 1.00)

26/09/2014 -
Herpes Simplex Type I IgG 0.29 (Negative = 1.00)
Herpes Simplex Type II IgG 0.38 (Negative = 1.00)

Im currently dealing with this burning sensation on my upper lips. Recently it became discolored (pls refer link for the the pic, mine is above)

1. How accurate is the result after one year? FYI after the 1st result I did take acyclovir for several days. And the later test was negative at 7 months apart.

2. Is there any difference of accuracy between your igg test and other labs in other countries as I heard a lot bout herpeselect/labcorb test in America but not sure which kind used in my country. I hope the accuracy is standard worldwide.

3. Are there any appearance different between HSV 1 and HSV 2? Let say i acquired HSV 2 oral will it be appear as my photo?

4. Will HSV symptoms continue like this? Or are there any possible reason to get this condition other than herpes? I should inform you this condition appear after the incident, i never had one like this before that.

You are driving yourself crazy over this, you do not have herpes.

The photo you put up looks ridiculous to me. I do not believe there is any evidence that herpes lesions lead to long term lip discolouration. If they did, then it would be after 20 years of outbreaks or so. You haven't had even 1 so how could your lip issue be due to that??

Hope we have been of help, best wishes in getting the ailments under control.

Hi, your first test for hsv1 was a possible false and this was cofirmed by the second test as negative. Taking antivirals would not turn a positive into a negative so you dont have hsv1 or hsv2. These tests are very accurate.
