the hpv testing done with pap tests, doesn't check for external hpv infections - the kinds that cause genital warts. typically if your warts don't return in a year after being removed, we consider yourself cleared of the type of hpv that caused them to occur.
if your herpes igg blood testing was negative, either you never really did have herpes in the first place and the visual diagnosis was wrong or it was hsv1 genitally and the infection isn't being picked up on with the blood testing you had done. unfortunately even the best blood tests we have, still miss 1 out of every 10 hsv1 infections.
so what do you do now? Well unless you get a return of genital symptoms to have cultured and typed, not really anything you can do.
do you have a regular partner?

yes i had a vaginal test done.. and i guess a blood test to check and sif i have vaginal herpes.
are you male or female?
unfortunately a visual diagnosis of herpes isn't adequate. it's ok to base treating for herpes on but it needs followed up on to confirm your status.
do you know what herpes testing you had done?
grace
Hi
You asked, "could it have been a misdiagnosis " It sounds like you were. But let's not celebrate just yet.
If you never had a positive test igG for G-HSV-2 then never believe you have herpes. You have one negative herpes test. Please find out what types of test it was... was igM was it igG ?
A confirmation igG HSV-2 test is recommended, take it today if you can. Let us know the results.
