how can you tell?

Is there any way to tell if the bump I see is a herpes blister? I had a bump down in my genital region once before, popped it and never thought anything of it. Now, there is another bump there, with a smaller bump next to it. The snmaller bump is shiny. Does shiny mean herpes? I won't be able to see a doctor for awhile, so I'm afraid that the bump will be gone by the time I see a doctor. I recently shaved down there, so it could be a razor bump, but does a razor bump on the actual penis take longer to heal than say one in the pubic hair region? Also...is there any way to tell if the bump is herpes, like any homeopathic ways??

going to be seen is the best course of action.
