First outbreak question? HSV1

It’s been 9 days since I shared the pipe with someone who had a cold sore.

I don’t know if it’s me looking for something but the left corner of my mouth sometimes aches, feels sore when i smile, burns, itches but it’s very off and on. Like a moment or two. The left side of my mouth looks redder and on close inspection, there was a little capsule of white when it starts to go from skin to lips. I didn’t see a cluster and when I popped it (rubbed away), it didn’t hurt or anything. I haven’t got a fever or anything, not aches, no lymph nodes in neck, and just want to ask if this is possibly a first outbreak symptom or I’m doing more harm to myself than good by continuing to looking and examine it/prod it.

I’ve never had HSV1 and been tested...nor been with anyone since testing. Just shared a pipe with someone who looked like they had one.

Thank you.
