i may have herpes

I'm 17 years old, i recently went to the hospital because i wasnt feeling well. I had been stressed about because i hadnt gotten my period. But the fact that i was stressed is what i feel like kept my period from coming. When i was at the hospital they did a pepsmir because im sexually active. The doctor said i had a discharge and she thought i might have herpes. Im very afraid, i've only had sex with one person. We always use a condom. The last time the condom broke, that was a week exactly ago. I dont experience any itching and burning or any other symptoms. My question is, if i do have herpes how do i tell my partner and my dad? im very confused and scared.

Sad they didn't run the culture for HSV.  I don't know much about ovarian cysts so I will leave that to grace.

You may want to have your normal doctor check you for a yeast or bacterial infection.

Just because you don't see the cold sore doesn't mean someone doesn't have HSV-1 orally.  Having him get tested along with you to know your own HSV status isn't a bad idea.

They didnt say anything about yeast or bacteria they just said i had a discharge
and i've never noticed any cold sores on him before

I had an ulcer on my cervix...but i've been overly stressed out lately...and i have ovarian cysts. my thought maybe one had ruptured. But they did a swab and the lady at the hospital said my results came back negative for chlamydia, gonorrehea, and trichomoniasis. but they would have to test my blood for herpes

does your bf get cold sores?

did they see any herpes lesions that they suspect herpes and if they did see them, did they do any lesion cultures on them?
