No it would not. igm are full of false positives.
IGM could indicate a positive when in reality it's sparking a positive for other old or separate infections outside of HSV. There is a reason Terri and other HSV experts do not recommend the test. I wish I would have followed there advice myself before paying for 4 of those expensive things, but I just wanted answers.
Do yourself a favor, don't test via IGM as there is no HSV test that can accurately show a recent infection outside of a positive sore shortly after a shady encounter.
Take a 12 week IGG type specific test and accept those results as fact.
just tingling and no obvious lesions isn't likely to be herpes.
should it continue, be seen and get checked out for jock itch/fungal infections genitally.
