need help

well this is my story, i got oral sex from a girl with a condom and two days later i had burning in my urethra which lasted about 5 to 6 weeks, no sore, blisters, or lesions, so i got scared and got tested for every thing and the igm test came back positive and went to my dr and he said that it sounds like a prostate issue or herpes, it seemed like if i sit or eat spicy food the burning pain in the urethra was more , then around week 6 my butt was very sore and my tailbone was in alot of pain, so i went to a urologist and he said i have chronic prostitutes and gave me an anti inflammatory drug which took away the sore butt and the tail bone pain and at around week 10 i thought every thing was getting better then one night i ate some spicy food and the next day the pain the urethra came back and its now past a week and i still have slight burning, its more when i sit and i had bad discomfort in my pelvis, at 8 weeks i did an igm, and igg test and again the igm was positive and the igg was negative, then now at 12 weeks i did another igg test and its negative, still i have no sore, blisters, or lesions.  so my question is do i have herpes, im plannning on testing again, any help please, im going nuts

I believe you have waited long enough to get accurate HSV results on your tests.  I can' provide you with any guarantees, only my most educated thoughts.  This will be our last post on this thread.

so is it safe to say that i dont have herpes, and move on with my life without worrying, and worrying about passing it on to my GF?

Herpes does not cause problems for the prostate

hey
first i want to thank you so much for ur input and help
well i went to my uro and he put me on a new antibiotic and the pain and discomfort have gone down alot, i hope this is just an issue with my prostate, hope its not herpes, i will test again when its 6months to be on the safe side, what is ur opinion,
if somehow herpes got into my prostate that could cause problems right or wrong?
and if it did then at 14 weeks my body should of made the antibodies?

it seems my issue is with my prostate, question i have is that

It really doesn't sound like an STD, maybe prostatitis?

I responded to your other post, I'm sorry you posted this one separately.  I believe now, Dr. Hook has also responded to your questions, and I hope that you are feeling more reassured about your lack of herpes infection.
