I can't get herpes out of my mind

@gracefromhpp -i think is your name.Okay so a month ago, I had unprotected sex with a man I've been dating. Two weeks later, while I was wiping I noticed an irritation and a stinging when urinating and blood on my toilet paper. I couldn't find out where the blood was coming from until I got home and literally bent over my mirror and saw what looked to be a paper cut. I immediately thought herpes since 1)  I just had a new sexual partner 2) herpes has always been a huge fear of mine. I went to the internet and it said herpes could look like papercuts in some cases. So I called planned parenthood but wasn't able to get in until 8 days later, my own fault because I wanted a time after work or a weekend. The clinician took a swab and said it could be herpes, but that it didn't look like it And that 2/10 times, she gets a positive result from a cut. I didn't have any other symptoms like the flu like symptoms. Nothing ever blistered or scabbed either. I thought my life was over, I convinced myself I had herpes. I asked the man and he said he NEVER has shown one symptom in his 33 years of existence and doesn't sleep with questionable people. That made me feel a little better. Anyway, my test result came back negative. I'm thinking it could be negative because   I waited too long to have it swabbed. So like the crazy person I am, I've been inspecting my vagina daily with a flashlight. I found another "papercut" but it didn't hurt when touched and i wouldn't have known it was there if I wasn't looking. Then two days ago, sorry the TMI, but after having a BM and wiping extremely hard, I noticed blood on the tp and again examined in the mirror and found a TINY little cut near my butthole. I've had issues with bleeding after wiping before but I never examined myself until recently. Could it all just be from wiping too hard or scratching myself (which I always itch a lot down there out of habit I think from reoccuring YI's) or is it herpes  I would get this tiny little thing swabbed but I know it will be gone by Monday. I'm thinking of getting an HsV 2 blood test done as well but my planned parenthood said they don't do blood tests for it because it can't distinguish between hsv1 and 2.

I think swabbing a sore that is not open would not be helpful in determining herpes. Herpes are not hard bumps.

I also get pimples down there frequently as I swear a lot, but this one is more inside of the vaginal lip then on the outside where They are likely to appear. Sorry for all the comments, I am just a nervous wreck over this

Thank you. This lump feels like a hard cystic like ball and is not busting open or painful. I keep trying to pop it like a pimple, but nothing is happening. I made an appointment with planned parenthood today to swab, however if it's not opened, would there not even be a point to have it swabbed? I scheduled a blood test with my OB for next week. I may just cancel this appt. and wait for the blood test. Thoughts? Thank you so much in advance. You've been extremely elofuk

Herpes sores are not under the skin lumps and as a rule, inside the mouth are cankers and outside would be cold sores (herpes). Herpes lip sores are very obvious.

Now I've noticed a small, flesh colored looking lump on the inside of the lip. It doesn't hurt and looks like a small pimple maybe? Does this resemble herpes? It hasn't opened or started to break open or blister. I don't remember seeing this before

Hi and welcome. Swabs are not dependable. If you want to confirm your herpes status you need a blood test 8 weeks post exposure as an indicator or 3 months for confirmation. Since the swab did come back negative and it was just one cut that did not spread, it would not appear as hereps. Herpes sores are not known to bleed or be puss filled but have clear liquid.
Also herpes tends to break out in the same spot give or take an inch and first time infections are at point of contact so you can pretty much rule out the anal as well.
Your lab is not correct in saying they cant tell the difference between hsv1 and 2 as the igg type specific can so do have the blood test but dont be overly concerned these are herpes sores.

I would appreciate comments from anyone with knowledge on the subject. I just mentioned grace because I've seen her posting on other herpes forums and she seems knowledgeable. Thank you in advance.
