When me and my boyfriend have sex there is a funny smell. It started about a 2 weeks ago. We both are clean and we don't sleep around. (Well so he tells me.) After we have sex sometimes he gets these small bumps like pimples just above his penus and sometimes on it. He says they itch and his left nut is a little swollen. We are scared to go to the Dr. What should we do or what could it be. Please help! I'm a little scared to find out if I got a disease. I'm only 31.

bottom line is - you both have to go and be seen to find out what is going on. usually odor is from a vaginal infection and frequently of the non-std related kind. you need to be seen and get properly tested for yeast and bv to find out what is causing your odor.

your bf also needs to be seen and find out what is going on. it sounds a lot like a fungal infection but he''ll need a proper exam to know for sure.

Bumps, itches and pain does NOT happend right after you have sex. STD's are not something that you get symptoms right after sex. It takes days depending on what it is. For herpes you are talking about a weeks time before you see anything. Friction on an organ like a penis will produce all sorts of marks and redness and even pain but it's not because of an STD. This doesn't mean he is clean either. I am just stating after sex you will NOT see STD symptoms.
