concern

A few weeks ago I noticed about six small, skinish pink colored pimple looking bumps on the shaft of my penis. They do not burn or itch, and do not appear to be blisters to pop, and are not clustered. They are almost in straight lines. Needless to say, there was concern from this and I did research. I came across fordyce spots, and I then realized that i have had them for as long as i can remember on the back side of the shaft, just smaller and more clustered. the ones on the front of the shaft are slightly larger, less in number, but when i stretch the skin of the penis they appear to look identical. when soft, they are noticble but decrese significantly in visibility when erect. is this somehing for concern, or normal?

if these have been there for as long as you can remember, they certainly are not herpes related. odds are they aren't std related at all since even genital warts would've went away on their own in a few years.

is it worth going to be seen for these? no it is not but certainly your next routine physical, point them out so you know what to call them when a future partner asks :)

Please don't self diagnose. Go see your PMD and allow her/him to diagnose &then prescribe any needed meds. It is risky to expect us to 'see' what you are describing via a website...and dangerous.
