smoking weed then testing

hello

I had a risky encounter with a prostitute in comoros island.

after 5 month i tested with herpes combined test and IgG I/II was negative.  my problem is that 4 days before i gave blood for testing, i had smoked weed (cannabis) with friends via a bong.. i was pretty stoned with it.  i heard that cannabis stays in blood and affects blood works..

I have no doubt about effectiveness of the test..on Non type specific test available on our island.  I cannot get another test.  I have had no symptoms of herpes.  I never had sex before (a virgin).  I am getting married in 5 days.
I am not here to discuss about the testing method.

Can you please tell me whether the weed smoking in bong four days before testing had any effect on my NON TYPE SPECIFIC blood test?  (I have read about the test in doctors forum..they said its ok but i just wanna know about the weed smoking.)

thank you#

sincerely yours

kevin

Hi Grace!!

Hope that you had a nice time with your children and had a great job interview.

Its today that I am reading your answer again carefully.  I did not have internet connection at all.  I have one last question.

Let me recapitulate.

I had unprotected vaginal sex with a hooker 5 months ago.  The hooker had some red ulcers/lesions on her vagina which may be herpes with the Non type Specific test (combined test).  So I was scared and tested after 149 days past exposure for herpes. You already told me that the cannabis smoking was not an issue.  However I see that i missed a little detail up there.

In fact, the night before I gave blood for Herpes Non type specific testing I drank some 4 large whiskey on the rocks..  I was pretty drunk and I woke in the morning the next day and the first thing I did was to give blood for testing herpes.

Now my question is :  COULD THE ALCOHOL (40% Vol Alcohol Whiskey) I HAD DRANK SOME 10-12 HOURS BEFORE GIVING BLOOD FOR HERPES NON TYPE SPECIFIC TEST, HAVE ANY EFFECT ON MY TEST RESULTS AT ALL??

My test result for herpes IgG I/II combined was negative.

I have no question about whether the test good or not.. I just want to know if the alcohol drinking 10-12 hours before the blood test had any effect on the combined herpes test.

I am due to be married in december.. I am saving money for it.. I will be grateful if you can help me here because I do not want to test again for nothing.  Also I must add that this was my first and LAST ever betrayal to my fiancee..  I even stopped drinking and smoking now.

Please help;)
