Herpes transmission after fingering?

I recently went home with a girl and we started fooling around. We were kissing for a while before put my hand in her pants and started rubbing here (didn't actually finger her). She also grabbed my penis and started giving me playing with it. This lasted maybe 1-2 minutes before she mentioned that we couldn't go any further, because she has herpes. I don't believe I touched my penis after I was touching her before I washed my hands. I don't know if she had an outbreak or not, but for the sake of this question, let's assume that she did. I have had oral herpes as long as I can remember, but only suffer tiny, short lasting outbreaks maybe once or twice every 3 years. If I understand this correctly, my body should have strong antobodies from HSV 1 that would help to fight off HSV 2.

Either way, do I have reasons to be worried? It's been 3 days and I have no symptoms or anything. We didn't have intercourse or any oral sex, just 1-2 minutes of hand play. I'm still freaking myself out, but was just wondering if anyone has any knowledge of transmission rates and likelyhood in my type of situation. Answers are much appreciated.

You needn't worry. The only risk you had (which is so incredibly small. So small you shouldn't worry at all) was to your finger. It's called herpes whitlow and it's rare. All in all if I were you. Knowing what I know, I wouldn't spend another minute thinking about hsv from this exposure.
