Do I have herpes?

I've had unprotected sex with someone a few times in the past 3 weeks. Just today, I saw an unopen canker sore like scar on his penis that was never there. Also, his penis was pretty pink. Also, there was a little extra skin (bump) on his penis right under the head. He also said that he didn't take a shower for a few hours after we had unprotected sex. Also, I've been feeling this tingly uncomfortable feeling near my anus for a few days. Is this herpes?

since you haven't been seen yet, make sure you both seek out type specific herpes igg blood tests to see who has what. odds are that neither of you have been tested for herpes before.

Thanks so much for responding! I'm waiting for my doctor's appointment, which feels ages away. I finished my hpv shots last year.

you should be seen and have a proper exam since you are having symptoms.

since you had unprotected sex, you should cover your bases with proper testing at the proper times. you can get tested for gonorrhea, chlamydia and trich any time after 1 week after you last had sex. syphilis after 6 weeks. herpes, hiv and hepatitis after 3 months.

have you had your hpv shots?

always protect yourself and only have protected sexual contact until it's a long term monogamous relationship where you are sure of their status..  It's not worth the risk to your health!
