exposed to herpes

Two days ago I had oral sex with a girl that had a cold sore. Immediately afterwards i washed of my penis with water and soap.
Is it very likely that i got infected?

this was high risk for contracting hsv1 genitally if you don't already have it orally. At this point all you can do is if you develop any obvious symptoms within the next 2-20 days, go and be seen promptly for a lesion culture and typing along with treatment.

Thank you for your promt reply.
Yes it was unprotected oral only nothing else. I never had a cold sore but have never been tested for herpes.
So i will get infected for sure?

washing up after the sex act doesn't do anything to reduce your risk of any std. std's are transmitted during the heat and friction of the sex act itself, they don't lay on the skin to work their way into the body.

have you ever had a cold sore yourself? have you ever been tested for herpes to know your own status?

I assume this was unprotected oral sex?
