what is it

I havent had sexual intercourse in years but i just received oral sex 2 weeks ago and i have this red spot on my penis that burned a little but no blisters or bumps at all and went away in a couple of days. Now the girl who performed oral sex on me had chapped lips when she did it. Is chapped lips a symptom of a cold sore? Could what was on my penis be herpes or something else because no clear fluid blisters at all! And she had a tube of blistex in her purse but it was unopened ( i saw it because she was digging thru her purse) and then i asked her and she said she uses it for chapped lips and i looked at her lips very thoroughly and didnt see a cold sore. But are chapped lips a symptom that a cold sore is coming?

2 weeks is a little long for an initial outbreak to happen but it could be a late bloomer so it is not totally out of the question. My opinion, you don't have herpes but definitely get it checked out with a blood test now and in a few months... You want the IGG Herpes Select Test and NOT the IGM...

About 2 weeks later i saw the redness and it looked inflamed but that was it. No blisters or bumps just redness and veins could this be a outbreak?

How soon after this oral sex did you see this red burning spot and where abouts on the penis did you see this? Although chapped lips aren't a symptom of Herpes as AJ has mentioned, this MIGHT not have been chapped lips but an outbreak. I only say this because I know of someone who gets cold sores that look like chapped lips and here you have a red mark that burns on your penis. About how long after the oral sex incident did you see this red burning mark? It could be anything as mentioned but mind as well be safe than sorry..

No, chapped lips aren't a sign of oral herpes.

The only way to know what is going on is to see your doctor.

Don't freak out - this could be anything.
