Don't say anything. You don't need to say you had acne when you were young and therefore not as sexually desirable as you are now. That's probably the wrong example but the truth remains that why should you communicate a non-issue? The science says that you have warts for about a year and then your immune system suppresses it and you are no longer contagious except for rare circumstances. If you would like, you can feel free to inform that once upon a time in a galaxy far far away you had HPV but it's gone now and has been for twelve years. Twelve years dude! That is enough time for this thing to resolve itself six to eleven times.
People say otherwise because of historical misconceptions. Remember, there is another sexually transmitted virus out there that is with you for life, it's herpes. HPV and herpes are easily lumped together by people who don't know. Science is always marching on and the new data show what Handsfield is saying. So believe it and have an awesome sex life.
That's what I've always believed. And Dr. Handsfield had a very helpful comment saying the same thing. So, I don't understand all of the people saying that these infections are for life?
Should I just say they were properly and professionally removed, haven't come back, etc, so just get over it?
yep, forget about it and move on. No need to expend any more brain power worrying about something that isn't going to happen. YOu are fine. They are gone and won't come back.
