When I was diagnosed I was immediately put on a cream called imiquimod and I was recommended to use it for 4 months. Nothing cleared up. After the last day of treatment I had about a week and a half before I had to see my OBGYN. In that week my warts cleared up faster than they did in 4 months. When I went to the OBGYN I told her I felt the medicine put off the clearing of the warts and they were completely gone after a month. I've been wart free for about 6 months now. I know every strain is different so different things will happen but that is just what happened to me.

maybe you can help me with this, my question is, if you´ve had let´s say 3 sexual sessions in a weekend, would a wart grow in size or would it remain unaltered? and a day after go to its normal size?

Also, the grain I told you about is back, so I remove it, hurts a little, like a ny grain you rip off, no blood comes out, the bump remaisn and a couple hours later you can see the grain forming again, is this normal?

Hope everything turns out well for you with the treatment, I am not sure what I have and am quite nervous aboout going to the doctor and have him see it, I am pretty allergic to hospitals, hahahahahaha. We´ll see, I´ve had it since 1998, has never gone away, it is just one single bump that resembles a wart, soemtimes a grain appears on top of it, like if I had messed up with it, it grows a bit in size but normally is quite small and does not have the grain. Before I have asked about it,and somebody told me it is not possible for a wart to stay for so long in my genitals, evenwithout treatment, that it must be something else, hope it is so, that it is just a bump form a clogged pore like you said or soemthing less worrisome. cheers

I am a woman but I have had white bumps from time to time on my vagina. I have "popped" them and a white seed like you described did come out. I also get these once in awhile on my face... I was told they are a clogged pore and since we have pores all over our body they can appear anywhere. I have HPV and I am in the process of trying to get rid of my genial warts...they look nothing like what you described. They are raised and they do not contain anything. Hope this helps.. I would always recommned talking to your doctor.

Hello, thnak you for your quick reply. I have actually not beden diagnosed, but I raise the question since I have some dooubts wether or not what i have in my penis is actually a wart. In the year 1998 I noticed on the side of my shaft a sort of pimple like or bump, did not pay that much attentio to it, but days after it was still there, so i panicked, started poking at it, and then noticed a sort of grain on the top of it, which I removed, bled quite a bit, and thought, Ok, now it will disappear, it did not. So, then last year searching the web I founfout about the genital warts, it kind of resembles it, so my quesion is as follows, could it be a genital wart? I mean, it has only bee that one, I have no other bumos at least that I can see, it has not multiplied nor grown bigger. do you think this coud be a genital wart or something else?
