Can genital warts spread to bottom of feet?

One other thing.  The bottoms of my feet have been getting warts as well in the past couple years.  They appear after I have an outbreak in the genital area.  My physician checked them and said they are not plantar warts and he didn't have an answer for me as to why I am getting them.  He did not link the two, though I am.  The warts on my feet are tiny, I can feel them under my skin, they burn and itch incredibly bad.  Any one else have such a thing happen to them?  Thanks!
